Elizabeth Judy Simon

Elizabeth Simon was born and raised in Darlington, South Carolina, the youngest of eight children. Her parent's hard work, motivation, and drive were instilled in her at a young age. As a young girl, Elizabeth’s nickname was “Country,” due in part to her love for country music. The death of her mother at the age of 15 shaped Elizabeth’s life in many ways.  She began to listen and love gospel music of all genres, but especially traditional and contemporary Christian.  She realized music helped her as her relationship began to grow in the Lord.

Even in times of “Spiritual Transition,” Elizabeth noticed that the Lord often ministered to her through songs. She now uses what the Lord has given to her, to minister to others.  Elizabeth’s musical gifts took form as she began to hear songs and melodies in dreams and during morning prayer. It was at this point in her life when God gave her the praise in her soul to magnify His name. Now, she is totally devoted to the calling of lifting up the Lord through songs of praise and worship. As Elizabeth’s intimacy with the Lord grew, God bestowed the spiritual vision of a “music ministry” upon her, hence the birthing of Eye Sight Ministries.

In junior high and high school, Elizabeth participated in several talent shows.  She was a part of the Cultural Realism Charm Center in Darlington, SC, where she participated in the Miss Teen Pageant. After graduating from St. John’s High school in Darlington, Elizabeth attended Florence-Darlington Technical College.  She was a member of the FDTC Chorus and was one of the lead singers at various concerts and other musical functions.  She received rave reviews for a 3 night musical called  “You’re  A Good Man Charlie Brown,” in which she played the main character of Lucy Van Pelt.

Elizabeth strongly believes in the biblical scripture “a man’s gift will make room for him.” God has granted her great opportunity to sing in her church ministry as lead singer for over 15 years.  For many years she has been inspired to visit nursing homes and hospitals, uplifting patients through her music ministry of songs and praises.  Many within Elizabeth’s community have been touched by her anointed voice as she performed at numerous functions such as:  weddings, funerals, family reunions, and other community events.

Elizabeth has also been an advocate of healthy eating and wealthy living for much of her life.  She has spent years of trial and error to maximize her health potential. She enjoys sharing her findings with others. She approaches health thorough the lenses of scripture which tells us our body is the temple for the Holy Ghost. Elizabeth views proper health as part of worshipping God. The gospel of the Kingdom is design to transform the body, soul, and the spirit of man.

Elizabeth has an outgoing personality, and loves meeting new people. In her spare time she enjoys sharing her testimony, talking about the goodness of the Lord, and spending quality time with her family. She is happily married and has two loving children.
